With whom do you pray?

In the Gospel of Matthew we read, “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” Do you have a practice of praying with other believers? Near or far, we’d love for you to pray with us.

40 Days of Prayer: Day 15
Join MWC in praying today for those who invest their lives in the service of others at adoption agencies, both domestic and international, by offering FREE support to mothers and fathers who cannot, for whatever reason, parent their children.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

40 Days of Prayer: Day 16
Join MWC in praying today for the sidewalk counselors at abortion clinics all over the world that they would be encouraged in the challenging work of being the “last front line” as they offer options to those who are at the door of the abortion clinic.

“Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.” 2 Corinthians 5:20

40 Days of Prayer: Day 17
Join MWC in praying today for families that adopt children with medical and emotional challenges, that they would have a special measure of grace and patience with these children.

“May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.” Romans 5:5-7

40 Days of Prayer: Day 18
Join MWC in praying today for women who are experiencing post abortion trauma, spiritually or physically.

“For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us. As a father shows compassion to his children, so the LORD shows compassion to those who fear him.” Psalm 103:11-13

40 Days of Prayer: Day 19
Join MWC in praying today for men who are experiencing post abortion trauma, spiritually or emotionally.

“Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.” Psalm 42:11

40 Days of Prayer: Day 20
Join MWC in praying today for the grandparents and other relatives of babies who were aborted. Families often try to stop an abortion from being done by a loved one, but when they are unsuccessful in their efforts there can be lots of sorrow. Sometimes this happens when a minor wants an abortion and the parents are unable to stop the process due to the use of a process called “judicial bypass” in which a judge grants permission over the parents’ objections.

“And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4

40 Days of Prayer: Day 21
Join MWC in praying today for women who are victims of sexual assault (sometimes this happens from a spouse or a boyfriend, not always a stranger) who become pregnant as a result of the assault. Praying that they would have the support they need to choose life for their child rather than to have an abortion.

“Cast your burden on the LORD, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.” Psalm 55:22
